Facilities That Meet The Need - David Drewry

First established in 1993 Drewry Electrical has grown from a 2-person shop to an operation employing 20+ people. As the demands of the North Island have grown so has Drewry Electrical. That kind of growth comes with the challenge of finding a facility space able to accommodate an expanding business.

“We’ve completely outgrown the shop space we currently have, so we're in the process of building to not only meets our needs, but to provide leasable space for other businesses.” explains David Drewry.

Drewry Electrical is currently in the process of building two 16,000 square foot industrial buildings with 22-foot high ceilings. “Our new office will occupy 4,000 square feet of that space in order to accommodate the essential industrial equipment and materials.

The facility we’re building out at Bevan is going to make a tremendous difference for us and have a massive impact on our day-to-day operations. Not only will we have a warehouse that will be much easier to work with but there‘ll be lots of work in the area in the next few years… and we want to be on the ground floor of that.”

Many businesses in the Valley have been looking for space to grow but may not want to own a building. The Drewry buildings have leasable spaces varying from 2,000 to 10,000 square feet and will go a long way to help to alleviate the pent up demand in the Comox Valley.
